Who we are
This website is operated by Herschel Installation Services (North) Ltd, company number 17393148. Our registered office is Unit 6a Access 18, Bristol, England, BS11 8HT. For questions about your information, contact brian.wallace@herschel-infrared.com.
Project enquiries
When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, optional telephone number, project location, building type and the project information you provide. We use this information to respond to your request, discuss a proposed service and manage the enquiry. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in the project description.
Enquiry information is stored in a protected database provided through our website hosting service. Access to the enquiry inbox is restricted to the authorised site owner. Enquiries are not published on the website.
Why we use your information
We process enquiries to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and where appropriate for our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and operating the website. We do not use the enquiry form to sign you up for marketing.
Security and technical information
The hosting service may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website. The enquiry form uses a hidden anti-spam field and temporary request-limiting records. These records use a daily hash of a network address rather than retaining the address in the enquiry database.
Cookies and external websites
The public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The protected owner inbox uses the hosting platform’s authentication system, which may use cookies needed for sign-in. Links to Herschel and other organisations lead to separate websites with their own privacy information. No external digital survey viewer is embedded on this website.
Retention and your choices
We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to the enquiry, manage any resulting project and meet applicable record-keeping requirements. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, or to raise a concern about how it is used. Your rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
You can also raise a data protection concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
